CALENDAR OF EVENTS

The Community Advisory Board (CAB) was formed in 1988 and is comprised of people with HIV infection and their advocates. The CAB was formed to provide an open line of communication between the Community Consortium and communities heavily affected by HIV disease. This group meets quarterly on Mondays in the Suite 201 Conference Room at 3180 18th Street from 12:00 to 1:30 PM. The mission of the Community Advisory Board (CAB) of the research component of the Positive Health Program (PHP) is to draw upon the unique knowledge and perspective of local individuals impacted by HIV disease to provide input on the local relevance, scientific merit, and practical feasibility of research conducted by the Program to produce a relevant, meaningful and successful research agenda with the goal of improving quality of life for people affected by HIV.

If you are interested in joining the CAB, contact Steve Murray at (415) 476-9554, Extension 305.
